ACLU Advocacy Training
At our February meeting, the American Civil Liberties Union will provide an important training session on how we can continue to ensure the freedom of all Americans and resist the planned outrages of the incoming administration. The ACLU is leading the movement to preserve and protect the rights of all Americans.
This hands-on training will allow you to learn more about ongoing issue campaigns from voting rights to criminal legal reform to education equity, and hear more about the ACLU's Firewall for Freedom work focused on immigrants' rights, LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive freedom, and free speech.
Come prepared to learn these effective techniques and leave with a renewed spirit of acitivism and strength.
The cost of the meeting is $25 per person ($30 for nonmembers), and a delicious buffet dinner is included. Registration is required.
In order to balance access to our meetings and speakers with the resources available to properly serve everyone, we now require payment in advance for reservations. You can register and pay online using a credit or debit card (no PayPal account is required), or you may send a check to Alice Casey at 36207 W. Estate Dr, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
